The Elite Fan Network was established in early-August of 2005, and was originally named the Fan Function Network.

Over the many years of providing free hosting to over 100 websites, the Elite Fan Network then made the move to become a small hosting network, providing services only to the best webmasters. With that in mind, the network strives to be small in order to build a close-knit community of young webmasters, and establish a friendly and supportive friendship to its members.
